AIM:

Design and development of an IoT-based Weather Monitoring Station.

PURPOSE:

The IoT-Based Weather Monitoring Station is designed to provide real-time monitoring of environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and air quality. By uploading this data to an IoT dashboard, users can analyze trends, receive alerts, and make informed decisions. This system is particularly useful for environmental studies, agricultural planning, and smart city initiatives.

DESCRIPTION:

The system uses a NodeMCU microcontroller integrated with sensors like DHT11 for temperature and humidity measurements and MQ-135 for air quality detection. The data collected from these sensors is displayed on a 16x2 LCD screen for local monitoring. Simultaneously, the system uploads this data to the Thingspeak IoT platform for real-time analysis and alerts. This system ensures accurate environmental data tracking and is ideal for educational and practical applications.

WORKING:

The DHT11 sensor measures temperature and humidity, while the MQ-135 sensor monitors air quality. The NodeMCU microcontroller processes this data and displays it on the 16x2 LCD for immediate observation. Using the ESP8266's built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, the processed data is uploaded to the Thingspeak IoT platform, where users can view real-time updates, analyze trends, and set alerts for specific environmental conditions.
